The Environmental and Emerging Claims Manager Association (EECMA) is hosting its annual conference on April 29 and 30th and attendance is free thanks to conference sponsors!  EECMA is dedicated to educating and supporting insurance claim managers, and lawyers and this year’s conference will include a session that tackles the complexities around claims associated with per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).  Verdantas's Nikki Delude Roy will join a panel discussion focused on the evolution of our understanding of PFAS manufacturing, toxicology, occurrence, fate/transport, and remediation.

EECMA is an informal association of major and minor, domestic and international, property and casualty insurers and reinsurers. The members of EECMA are focused on continued education about the many ongoing and newly emerging issues surrounding environmental, asbestos, and other long-term exposure litigation that continue to present challenges to insurers and our policyholders.
