Nikki Delude Roy, P.G., is a Senior Consultant and Vice President at Verdantas with approximately 20 years of technical and leadership experience. Nikki is recognized in New England and beyond for her strategic approach to complex environmental challenges. Her consulting expertise has focused on site assessment and remediation projects throughout the United States for transportation, manufacturing, and waste sector clients. Projects have included hydrogeologic investigations, landfill design and permitting, remedial investigations/feasibility studies, litigation support, portfolio-level due diligence, and brownfields redevelopment. Nikki regularly presents and coordinates public outreach efforts on high-profile projects and functions as a liaison with federal, state, and local regulatory personnel, and legal counsel on behalf of her clients. Prior to joining Verdantas, Nikki served Golder Associates as a Senior Consultant and New England and New York Group Leader.

Over the past few years, Nikki has become an industry thought leader through her work with emerging contaminants including per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and her efforts to keep abreast of the evolving regulatory scene in New England and throughout the country. In addition to being involved in the regulatory, legal, and strategic components of several large projects where emerging contaminants were identified as chemicals of concern, Nikki has also provided technical support to the New Hampshire Business and Industry Association (NH BIA) during NH’s development of PFAS legislation. She received NH BIA’s “2018 Above and Beyond Award” for providing support to NH businesses during the first year of the NH legislature’s focus on PFAS issues. Nikki regularly presents at local and national conferences (e.g., NH Air & Water Regulatory Conference, SWANA WasteCon, NWRA WasteExpo, Transportation Research Board) on issues associated with emerging contaminants and co-authored a national article for American Bar Association (ABA) in their Water Resources Committee Newsletter – Vol. 20, No. 1- March 2018 on Regulatory Challenges Posed by Emerging Contaminants.

Nikki is Chair of the New Hampshire Board of Professional Geologists.

In her free time, Nikki enjoys spending time with her two daughters, Brenna (19) and Eva (17), hiking with her dog, and riding her horse.
