They perform fieldwork including collecting samples, conducting surveys, and implementing project plans at various locations. Field Technicians gather data that is crucial for environmental assessments and engineering analyses. They are responsible for operating and maintaining the equipment for testing and data collection. They document their findings and prepare reports that contribute to the decision-making process for project planning and execution. Field Technicians work closely with engineers, scientists, and other professionals to ensure the accuracy and reliability of their work.
Inspectors
Inspectors at Verdantas play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of various engineering projects. These detail-oriented professionals are responsible for overseeing the construction processes of industrial spaces, ensuring they meet OSHA standards, and maintaining structural integrity. Using advanced 3D technology to monitor the construction and functionality of equipment platforms and the overall building, our inspectors work on projects related to dam safety, fish passage solutions, and hydropower facilities. They collaborate with biologists and integrate environmental considerations into their inspections to ensure the functionality and sustainability of these hydraulic structures. Inspectors oversee the bidding process for new designs and rehabilitation and maintenance projects, ensuring the transportation infrastructure is safe and reliable. Verdantas is also proud to offer opportunities for entry-level candidates to become Special Inspectors; these individuals are trained in soil and concrete sampling, testing, and inspection, which are essential for the geotechnical and construction fields.
