Verdantas (formerly MHM) provided civil engineering and land surveying services to support the entitlement of Goldfields Ranch Estates, a planned residential subdivision for LGI Homes Incorporated. Working closely with the developer and local agencies, the team helped advance the project through the early planning and approval process by providing the technical analyses, mapping, and coordination needed to support future development.
Engineering services included study plans, pre-design analysis, utility planning and mapping, preliminary engineering, cost estimating, and coordination with Yuba County and key service providers, including the Linda County Water District, Linda Fire Protection District, Marysville Joint Unified School District, and other utility agencies. Verdantas also prepared a small lot tentative map and supporting engineering documentation, helping establish a framework for subsequent design and development activities.
To support entitlement approvals, the team completed a range of surveying services across the project site, including boundary surveys and boundary resolution, topographic surveying, drone aerial mapping, and ALTA surveys for multiple parcels within the development area. These efforts provided critical site information that informed planning decisions and supported coordination among project stakeholders.
By combining engineering expertise, surveying capabilities, and agency coordination, Verdantas helped position the Goldfields Ranch Estates project for successful advancement through the entitlement process. The comprehensive approach provided LGI Homes with the technical foundation needed to move the residential development forward while navigating the requirements of multiple reviewing agencies.
